Belly Dancing and Moroccan Food

Hubby and I promised my parents we were going to take them somewhere fun so we decided on  Imperial Fez, a Morrocan restaurant that has live belly dancing here in Atlanta.  What a performance they put on!  No matter where you were seated you had a great view and the food was very good.  We had a great time so I thought I'd share our experience.

One of the many belly dancers

The tables were low to the ground and you sat on these comfy benches that were covered in pillows.  It was very comfortable.  The waiter was very nice and explained everything to us.  He never made us feel rushed and was very attentive.

This talented dancer incorporated fire into her routine!

It is a 5 course meal so you are going to be there a while.  We were in no rush though because it was just too entertaining!  The dancers were very beautiful and talented.

Here is a video of one of the belly dancers.  On into the night some people starting tipping the dancers.  We handed my son a dollar.  You should have seen the look on his face!  We couldn't resist...  I mean, what fun is it if you can't embarrass your child once in a while?

We ate so much food!  It was all really good!  This is a picture of our dessert.

If you are ever in the Atlanta area and want to have an entertaining night out, you should give Imperial Fez a try.
Hubs sportin' a beard!
